Wall & Rope Techniques: learning inversions with care.

With Master Mahesh, explore inversions and backbends through progressive support, clear demonstrations and attentive guidance.

OMIYOGA students exploring supported balance and inversion practice

What is a Wall & Rope Techniques workshop?

This focused workshop explores inversions and backbends with the support of a wall and yoga ropes. OMIYOGA’s official announcement describes clear demonstrations, guidance for entering and exiting poses, and individual attention as participants work with handstand, Pincha Scorpion, wheel and bow variations. The method is less about forcing a finished shape and more about understanding alignment, support and a gradual path into practice.

Who might find it useful?

The workshop welcomes different levels of experience and is especially relevant to yoga teachers and graduates of teacher training who want to refine observation and teaching choices. You do not need to arrive with every pose mastered. Bring your current practice and questions; the teaching team can help you understand how wall and rope support may change what you feel, see and choose in a pose.

Date, venue and fee

The workshop takes place on Sunday, 25 October 2026, from 2:30–5:00pm at OMIYOGA TST, Suites A & B, 9/F, Kam Wing Commercial Building, 28 Minden Avenue, Tsim Sha Tsui. Early bird is HK$950 when paid in full by 18 October; the regular fee is HK$1,150. Places and payment arrangements should be confirmed with OMIYOGA before booking.
